GGCAM declared a National Heritage institution of Pakistan
Government Graduate College Asghar Mall, Rawalpindi has been declared a National Heritage institution of Pakistan. The recognition covers the college’s Main Block, built in 1913 and still in daily academic use, and reflects an unbroken run of education on this site since 1904 — first as a school, and as a government college since 1948.
Alongside the designation, the college has announced archaeology classes in cooperation with the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, connecting the institution’s own heritage status to a new area of academic study for its students.
